The overarching objective of the Second Chance Theatre Project is to work with formerly incarcerated and incarcerated individuals, The overall approach is to foster social health and wellbeing through programmes that are offered in correctional facilities, communities and schools. The project seeks to affirm the dignity of the participants and their communities.

The programmes for the Second Chance Theatre Project involve using theatre processes and productions as a medium to develop individual participants’ capabilities and foster community relationships.
